Recorded on a winter’s day in a gardenhouse on the outskirts of Copenhagen. Although the natural surroundings were largely dormant, in moments of lightening clouds there were signs of the coming spring.

Aram Shelton and Håkon Berre are a saxophone and drum duo based in Copenhagen, Denmark. An evolving experiment in real time music creation, they explore the outer capabilities of their instruments via extended techniques and non-traditional sounds alongside fragmented melodies and internally shared rhythms. Their music takes divergent paths to meet in unexpected places and is guided by a sophisticated aesthetic which strives to avoid preconceived strategies and notions.
